PERRY, IOWA, JUN 20 – The $12 million tax benefits aim to create over 300 jobs at a new $135 million sausage plant replacing 1,300 lost jobs after Tyson Foods closed its Perry facility.

Also, the state unemployment rate ticked up 0.1 percentage points from April to May.
