Pritzker presented in Springfield a package of laws aimed at shielding labor rights in Illinois from what he described as “the Trump administration’s attack on organized work.” During the signing ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Illinois AFL-CIO, the Democratic Governor stated that the history of the workers’ movement in that state has been the driving force of change at the national level.
