No. 16 Northeastern blanked the No. 13 Providence College men’s hockey team, 2-0, on Friday night (Dec. 3) at Schneider Arena. Gunnarwolfe Fontaine put the Huskies on the board in the final 54 seconds of the first period, carrying a 1-0 lead into the first intermission. The Friars had a late power play searching for the equalizer and pulled Jaxson Stauber for the extra attacker. Matt Choupani sealed the game into the empty net at 18:41.
