ELORA – Deputy fire chief Jason Benn has been named acting fire chief for Centre Wellington Fire Rescue. The move follows the resignation of Chief Tom Mulvey, who is retiring after 33 years as a firefighter with the township. Benn assumes the role on March 6 and Mulvey officially leaves his post at the end of March.The township will conduct a recruitment process in the search for a new fire chief.
