CNN found Affinity Partners sold part of its Phoenix stake for more than $340 million while retaining a holding worth over $1 billion.

Phoenix has invested hundreds of millions of dollars into Elbit Systems, Israel's largest arms manufacturer, and holds stakes in at least eight other companies providing equipment for Israeli military operations in Gaza.
Ethics counsel Cynthia Brown of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington described Kushner's work as an 'unprecedented dual role,' though his attorney told CNN Kushner had 'never participated in or directed Phoenix's decisions.'
