- After a two-day Singapore visit, Adityanath began the Japan leg scheduled February 25 to 26, marking his maiden visit to deepen strategic and economic ties and showcase policy reforms over nine years.
- Yogi said, `Had a productive and forward-looking meeting with Kazuki Shimizu, Managing Officer, Chief Operating Officer of Infrastructure Projects Business Unit, Mitsui & Co., along with senior members of his team, in Tokyo today. Invited Mitsui & Co. to explore transformative investment opportunities in Uttar Pradesh across Renewable Energy, ICT, Semiconductors and Data Centers.`
- He invited Japanese firms to visit UP and join its private industrial park programme, assuring industry-friendly policies, secure approvals, and highlighting the Medical Device Park in the Yamuna Expressway region and Dedicated Freight Corridor.
- Adityanath highlighted Uttar Pradesh's young workforce, saying 56 per cent are youth and promoted affordable, skilled manpower, calling UP India's food basket with largest water resources and rapid expressway growth.
