Trial court ‘swayed by emotions’: Delhi Police moves HC against order discharging Sharjeel Imam, others in Jamia violence case
The plea was mentioned Friday before a division bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta for urgent listing on February 13, which was allowed by the Delhi High Court.

The Delhi High court on Friday allowed the urgent listing of plea moved by Delhi Police against the discharge of 11 persons including student activists Sharjeel Imam, Asif Iqbal Tanha, Safoora Zargar, who were previously accused in 2019 Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University Violence.
