Jamestown Fire Department extinguishes embers at residence Saturday

JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Fire Department was dispatched at 10:09 p.m. to 1308 5th Ave. NW, according to information provided by Fire Chief Jim Reuther. Four units responded. The owner at the resident extinguished a small fire from a natural fireplace prior to the arrival of JFD.
