James Martin Halunen was a lifelong resident of Plymouth, but for 77 years it was the tiny valley of Chiltonville that he called home. As a young boy, he would ride to Plymouth Beach on the handlebars of his big brother John’s bicycle. As a teenager, he would fish and hunt along the Eel River.
