The peer company Jaizkibel will award this year's Hondarribia Berdintasun Hiria award (Gipuzkoa) to the Plazara Dantzara collective, in recognition of their fight to ensure the participation of women in Baztan (Navarra) dances. "The Bidasoa connects Baztan and Hondarribia, and in recent years, the call for women's participation in festivals has also united us: here in the parade, and there in the boys' dances," Jaizkibel said in a statement.
