An elected RN of Ivry-sur-Seine provoked an incident in municipal council by recitation of a prayer to protest the rejection of his anti-religious amendment.
He explained that he had acted to denounce the rejection of his proposal "to adopt an amendment in the rules of procedure in order to prohibit the ostentatious wearing of religious signs".
