Adam Driver, Inde Navarrette Join Cast of New X-Men Film
The breakout star of Obsession joins a cast that includes Christopher Abbott, Samara Weaving and Adam Driver for Marvel’s reboot.
- On Friday, August 14, Marvel Studios unveiled the core cast for its upcoming X-Men reboot at Disney's D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige introduced the ensemble, featuring several newcomers to the MCU.
- Breakout Obsession star Inde Navarrette will play Rogue, while Adam Driver joins as villain Nathaniel Milbury, an alias for Mr. Sinister. Driver announced via video-link that he and Feige "finally found the perfect film at the perfect time."
- Director Jake Schreier will helm the project, which also stars Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, and Maya Boyd as Storm.
- The X-Men reboot will debut in cinemas on May 5, 2028. Feige confirmed the studio is intentionally casting younger actors for these roles to integrate mutants into the current cinematic universe.
- Feige indicated that additional casting details for the film will be revealed in due course. Several former X-Men actors, including Sir Patrick Stewart, continue to appear in separate Marvel projects.
