It’s flower viewing time at the Carlsbad Flower Fields

Visiting the Carlsbad Flower Fields in the spring is an annual tradition for many families, and this year they turned out in force for opening day, Sunday March 1. Some dressed in finery, families of all sizes spent the day wandering the colorful acres of flowers, having a bite to eat, visiting the butterfly enclosure and taking photos at the many spots set up for just that purpose.
