It remains 18 years in prison for attempted murder for the man who, on the night of 1 May 2024 in Linz, injured an unknown night owl with a knife stab in his stomach. On Thursday, the Oberlandesgericht (OLG) Linz confirmed the penalty level of the first court. After the Supreme Court (OGH) has already rejected the invalidity complaint, the verdict is final. The defendant spoke of self-defense.
