Trucks are moving to Perestzteg, where the bodies of animals killed in Rábapordány will be buried

Another farm has been affected by the foot-and-mouth disease epidemic, and the carcasses killed in Rábapordány are being transported to Perestzteg.

Locals tried to block the road leading to the crematorium, but the deliveries came with a police escort.

The residents of Pereszteg protested all night over the cattle and pig carcasses being transported to the slaughterhouse near the village. Agriculture Minister István Nagy published a post on Facebook, in which he said that they had begun to liquidate the farm animals of the Rábapordány livestock farm.

The transport will start on Friday with police insurance.
