Israeli strikes kill three people in Gaza, medics say
Health officials said Israeli strikes and gunfire killed at least 3 Palestinians and wounded others as ceasefire violations continued.
On Saturday, three Palestinians, including the son of Gaza Health Ministry Director-General Munir al-Bursh, were killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
Violations of the United States-brokered ceasefire, in place since October 2025, have persisted as Israeli forces continue operations that have killed at least 1,381 people.
One Palestinian died in a Shujayea drone strike, while a girl succumbed to injuries from earlier gunfire north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital announced.
The Health Ministry expressed condolences to Munir following the death of his son, Basir, who was killed in a strike targeting the az-Zahra neighbourhood west of Jabalia.
Since October 2023, the war has killed nearly 74,000 Palestinians and destroyed about 90% of civilian infrastructure, while UNICEF reports that, on average, one child is killed daily.
