- Israeli media reported Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the ministers' demands, preferring defensive measures, while opposition leader Yair Lapid called the ceasefire a "farce" amid the Lebanese Health Ministry's report of 3,123 deaths.
- Lebanon and Israel are preparing for a fourth round of talks in early June despite the ongoing rhetoric, while Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem continues opposing negotiations under the U.S.-brokered ceasefire announced April 16.
