While the Israeli occupying army issued new evacuation orders in Gaza, 40 Palestinians were killed today (Saturday) in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, focusing on Khan Younis. A medical official said that 40 Palestinians had been killed by Israeli shelling of Khan Younis since dawn today, showing that the Al-Shifa medical complex had received 12 deaths and some 50 injured in Israeli shelling of aid waiting for the north-west of Gaza City.
On June 8, the Israeli army announced that it had identified the body of Hamas leader Mohammed Sinouar in Gaza. According to the military, his remains were found “in an underground tunnel under the European hospital of Khan Younis” in the south of the Palestinian enclave.
