Israeli drone strike kills Palestinian siblings in a Gaza tent camp
The strike hit tents sheltering displaced families, and Nasser Hospital said at least 7 others were wounded.
An Israeli drone strike in the Muwasi camp killed Palestinian siblings Islam Moussa, 15, and Abdullah Moussa, 30, on Saturday. The Israeli military acknowledged the strike, stating it targeted a Hamas militant without providing additional details.
Despite a fragile ceasefire reached in Oct that paused the heaviest fighting, Israel continues to carry out near-daily strikes and shelling across the coastal enclave. This pattern reflects ongoing tensions since the conflict began.
The Israeli military also struck a tent in western Gaza City on Saturday, wounding at least 12 people. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported two were critically wounded, with the majority of casualties being women.
A team of independent experts commissioned by the United Nations accused Israel of deliberately shooting children and committing genocide. Israel denies the genocide claim, rejecting the accusation from the UN-backed investigation.
Israel's retaliatory offensive has killed more than 73,050 Palestinians since the war began. The Health Ministry reported over 250 children killed since the ceasefire took effect, with more than 1,030 Palestinians dead since October 2025.
