Syrian, Israeli Ministers to Meet in Baku
AZERBAIJAN, JUL 30 – The talks aim to de-escalate violence after deadly clashes in southern Syria's Druze-majority Suweida province, where over 1,400 died, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
- On Thursday, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani will meet Israeli Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer in Baku to discuss security in southern Syria.
- Deadly sectarian clashes in Suweida province, involving Syrian government forces and Israeli operations, killed over 1400 people, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
