Deutsches Museum celebrates 100 years
Shortly before the 100th birthday came the 100 millionth visitor: The German Museum celebrates with records. On 7 May 1925 the house had opened as one of the largest science and technology museums in the world on the Munich Museum Island. Together with all branches, the house has 125,000 objects, from 3.7 billion years old moon rock as the oldest exhibit up to almost 100 tons of military submarine U1.
