Is Three down? Thousands of UK users have no signal and can't make phone calls
More than 2,000 outage reports were logged on Downdetector as customers reported no signal, internet and call problems on the Vodafone-Three network.
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, thousands of VodafoneThree users reported connectivity issues, with more than 2,000 problems logged on Downdetector across London, Bournemouth, and Leeds.
Of the reported issues, 35% relate to no signal, 28% concern internet connectivity, and a further 22% involve data problems, according to Downdetector data.
One user in Bristol reported "no phone signal today," while others described receiving a "not registered with network" error or an engaged tone when attempting calls.
Service disruptions began around 11.30am and continue into the afternoon as Newsquest has approached VodafoneThree for comment on the widespread connectivity failure.
Downdetector describes itself as "where people go when services don't work," validating reports in real-time to detect incidents when problem volumes significantly exceed typical service averages.
