- Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters declared the management of the Strait of Hormuz is exercised with "full authority" by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, requiring all vessels to obtain permission.
- Iran warned that any violation of shipping protocols in the Strait will "seriously jeopardise the security of their traffic," mandating commercial vessels and tankers adhere to designated routes.
