- The project will enter contract and design phases within days, with AEOI officials saying operational steps are now underway to boost Iran's civilian nuclear capacity and Tehran–Moscow energy cooperation.
- If no agreement is reached by September 27, all UN sanctions will be reimposed, while China and Russia seek a six-month extension at the United Nations Security Council.
