Ion Izagirre (4 February 1989, Ormaiztegi) will continue one more campaign, until 2026, in the Cofidis. The cyclist of Ormaiztegi, one of the best cyclists of Euskal Herria in recent years, will continue in the WorldTour defending the leotard of the Cofidis, where he will complete his fifth consecutive campaign.
The French team Cofidis announced this Wednesday the contract extensions of three of its riders: Spanish rider Ion Izagirre, German rider Emanuel Buchmann and French rider Nicolas Debeaumarché.
