A Clovis business owner who had been reported missing last month was found dead Thursday in a canal in Fresno, authorities said. Surinder Pal, 55, was last seen around 6 p.m. on June 22 near Blackstone and Dakota avenues in Fresno. His vehicle was found abandoned the following day near Temperance and McKinley avenues.
