During the five-day National Day holiday from August 29 to September 2, international tourists flocked to Phu Quoc’s renowned attractions and ventured into the unique melaleuca forest ecosystem of U Minh Thuong National Park in An Giang Province, southern Vietnam. This surge in visitor interest was confirmed by the provincial Department of Tourism.
During the National Day celebrations on September 2nd, An Giang province reaped a bountiful harvest, welcoming 580,135 visitors, including nearly 27,000 international tourists, an increase of almost 50% compared to the same period last year, with total tourism revenue reaching nearly 900 billion VND.
