In the case of sexual harassment of intern students at the Turkish Grand National Assembly's restaurant, the court ordered the release of the defendants. While 4 defendants were released, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office immediately appealed the decision.
Five defendants, four of whom were in custody, were released on bail in a trial in Ankara on charges of sexual abuse and harassment of intern students at the Turkish Grand National Assembly's restaurant. The court cited the time spent in custody and the lack of suspicion of them fleeing as reasons for releasing the defendants.
