Inmates in Cheshire continue hunger strike as they demand better conditions

Since July 7, several inmates at the Cheshire Correctional Institution have been on a water-only hunger strike. The inmates are demanding better living conditions and enforcement of PROTECT Act, which puts parameters around solitary confinement and grants the inmates recreational time.
