- On February 17, Infosys shares rose nearly 3% after announcing a strategic partnership with Anthropic to develop AI solutions for enterprises, pairing Anthropic's models with the Topaz AI platform.
- Combining Claude with Topaz, the companies said they will, during India's AI summit in New Delhi, which hosts world leaders and tech moguls.
- The partnership targets telecommunications and other sectors, beginning with an Anthropic Centre of Excellence and later expanding to financial services, manufacturing, and software development.
- The companies say they will help organisations in tightly regulated industries use AI more effectively, while Anthropic, recently valued at around $380bn, announced partnerships with Air India and Cognizant this week.
- Infosys, a 40‑plus year Bengaluru firm, brings scale with more than 300,000 employees in around 60 countries as the integration aims to accelerate AI adoption across sectors.
