Eurozone Industrial Production Down in August

Industrial production in the euro area fell by 1.2 percent in August compared to July, and in the EU by 1 percent. In year-on-year comparison, it grew by 1.1 percent in both areas, the European statistics office Eurostat announced today. Slovenia recorded a 0.6 percent drop in the monthly comparison and a 0.1 percent drop in the annual level.
