Indonesia volcano belches six-mile ash tower
An Indonesian volcano spewed a 10-kilometre (6.2-miles) molten plume of ash topped by lightning into the Friday night sky, weeks after another huge eruption triggered dozens of flight cancellations in Bali.
A volcano in the eastern part of Indonesia entered into eruption this week, causing a column of high-tenths of 10 kilometres high, four weeks after an earlier eruption that caused the cancellation of dozens of flights in Bali. Located on the tourist island of Flores, Mount Lewotobi Laki Lake, which reaches 1.584 metres high, entered an eruption at 9h48 (hour of Brazil), informing the Vulcanology National Agency in a communication.
