India to Host 130+ Countries at Bharat RE Summit and Expo 2026
The summit is expected to draw more than 75,000 participants and 400 exhibitors as India seeks new clean-energy partnerships.
New Delhi will host the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 from November 2–5, convening representatives from more than 130 countries to advance clean energy investment and international cooperation.
India enters the summit with rapidly expanding clean energy capacity, having surpassed 304 GW of non-fossil fuel in August 2026, with a target of 500 GW by 2030. Achieving this requires substantial investment in renewable infrastructure.
Organizers expect more than 75,000 participants, over 400 exhibitors, and 500 speakers across 90 curated sessions. The summit runs alongside the 9th Session of the International Solar Alliance Assembly and the 4th International Conference on Green Hydrogen .
Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy Shri Pralhad Joshi stated, "India's clean energy journey demonstrates what is possible when ambition is matched by investment, innovation and sustained action," inviting global stakeholders to forge partnerships.
Discussions will focus on accelerating the global energy transition through clean energy financing, resilient supply chains, and green hydrogen development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi noted India is the first G20 nation to achieve Paris Agreement targets.
