- Applied Materials announced a $5 billion investment under its India Vision 2035, while Lam Research revealed plans for its first silicon-component manufacturing facility in the country.
- Tata Electronics partnered with Ascendas First Space for a 363-acre vendor park, also signing agreements with Japan's Fujifilm and JSR Corporation for materials needed for the Dholera fab.
- Investments are expected over the next two to three years, though Vaishnaw noted many companies require final board and shareholder approvals before confirming details.
