- The awards breakdown includes four Kirti Chakra awards and 26 Vayu Sena Medals, with 290 Mention-in-Despatches, officials said.
- Senior military brass including Vice Admiral S.J. Singh, Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti, Vice Admiral A.N. Pramod, Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, and others were honoured with Yudh Seva medals, President Murmu approved.
- Operation Sindoor reaffirmed India's regional dominance and deterrence posture, with officials saying it targeted militants and camps in Pakistan and PoK.
