TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — Incumbent Shaunna O'Connell has won reelection as mayor of Taunton, unofficial results show. O'Connell defeated challenger Estele Borges, who conceded roughly an hour after the polls closed. O'Connell received 52.6% of the vote, while Borges received 46.9%, a difference of about 600 votes out of nearly 11,000 ballots cast. Voter turnout in the city was just under 25%.
