The acronym "DDPF", for "Defence of the rights of French prisoners", was again tagged on prisons, vehicles were set on fire and drones were reported.

The Prime Minister announced that he would visit the Saint-Quentin-Fallavier Prison Centre (Isère) on Wednesday to express his support for the prison staff. He would be accompanied by the Seals Guard, Gérald Darmanin, and the Interior Minister, Bruno Retailleau.

While the night was again marked by degradations, union representatives of the overseers called for an acceleration of certain protective measures.
