MEXICO CITY.— To slow down the process of deterioration of 14 Mesoamerican rubber balls, found in 1988 at the foot of Mount El Manati, south of Veracruz, specialists from the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) and the National Autonomous Universities of Mexico (UNAM) and Veracruzana propose the elaboration of an anoxia system (total absence of oxygen) for its preservation.
