In Strasbourg, teny houses to house the homeless

In Strasbourg, in the Robertsau district, tiny houses were set up to accommodate five families on the street, for lack of accommodation. The first 18 inhabitants received symbolically the keys to their new roof, which will allow them to live a semblance of normality and to be accompanied towards autonomy.

Since the beginning of April, five families who had previously been on the street with school children in Strasbourg are now housed in "Bubbles d'air", micro-houses of 25 m2. Located in the Robertsau, they will remain on site until the end of 2026. "A very beautiful project of solidarity" according to the City, which denounces a "breathless accommodation system".
