In election fraud case, Roanoke County official gets community service

A member of the Roanoke County School Board was ordered Thursday to perform 100 hours of community service in an agreement that resolves a charge of election fraud related to a voter petition he filed to run for reelection.

Greenway’s election fraud charge to be dismissed pending community service

A Roanoke County School Board member may have a misdemeanor charge for election fraud dismissed if he completes 100 hours of community service within six months.  Roanoke County General District Judge Jaqueline Talevi signed off on the plan Thursday morning after Tim Greenway, who represents the Vinton District of the school board, entered a plea of not guilty.  Greenway was charged on Oct. 1 with a class 1 misdemeanor regarding his paperwork to…
