A part of a residential building collapsed in Astrakhan, from the first to the fifth floor, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said on Monday. Rescuers are clearing the rubble and searching for possible victims or survivors. At least three people were injured, the Kommersant newspaper reported. Astrakhan is located on the Caspian Sea, about 1,300 kilometers southeast of Moscow.
In Astrakhan, the entrance of the residential home collapsed and 15 people were evacuated, as reported by the Governor of the province, Igor Babushkin.
