Work begins on Austintown playground improvements

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Work began Monday on some improvements to the playground at Austintown Park. Three new pieces are being added, paid for by a grant through Game-Time playground equipment. The work costs about $45,000 and is expected to be completed in three or four days. Weather permitting, park officials say they expect the playground to be open this weekend.
