In France, the National Court of Asylum decided on Friday, 11 July, that all Palestinian citizens of Gaza would be granted refugee status. The CNDA had been seized several months ago by a Gazaoui mother fleeing Israeli reprisals following Hamas attacks on 7 October 2023. It finally granted her refugee status because of the "war methods" used by the Hebrew State.

A Palestinian mother and her son have been granted refugee status at the National Court of Asylum Law this Friday. So far, only Palestinians with special UN protection can obtain this status.
