Australia’s men’s and women’s 4x100m freestyle relay teams have claimed remarkable gold medals on the opening night of the world swimming championships in Singapore.
A few minutes after their female colleagues, the Australians were crowned world champions of the 4x100m freestyle relay on Sunday in Singapore.
Perfect start for the German team at the swimming World Championships in Singapore. Lukas Märtens is the world champion over 400 meters of freestyle. For the Olympic champion it is his first gold at World Championships.
The Dutch relay swimmers took bronze on the first day of the World Championships in the 4x100-meter freestyle. Only the swimmers from Australia and the United States were faster.
The Serbian men's 4x100-meter freestyle relay team failed to advance to the final of the World Championships in Singapore today.
