LITCHFIELD, Ill. (WTVO) — An Illinois State Trooper, who was pulled over on Interstate 55 to investigate a crash, was struck by a 76-year-old driver. Both were unharmed in the incident, police said. According to state police, the Trooper was on I-55 northbound near milepost 45.8 at 9:02 p.m. on April 20th when the driver of a white Toyota struck the car.
