In a Wednesday night post on its Facebook page, the Danbury Police Dept. wrote that it had come to the department’s attention that “a woman from New Britain, as well as possibly others with similar names, are being mistakenly identified as the individual responsible for the fatal crash in Danbury on July 13th that claimed the lives of a Bridgeport police officer and his girlfriend.”
