- "Sidon is overcrowded," said Jihan Kaisi, an NGO director helping displaced families at a school sheltering three times more people than capacity, including those from Kharayeb.
- Entrepreneur Haidar Bitar remains convinced that Israel will not be able to defeat Hezbollah, as the group prepares for prolonged confrontation. "It won't be easy for Israel," Bitar said.
