In the town of Hvar, it is now not possible to buy alcoholic beverages between 9 pm and 6 am. At least not in shops, but they are still served in bars. The town wants to ensure greater peace and order and protect the environment and cultural heritage with this measure. A similar measure is already in force in Split and Makarska, and it is also being considered in Zadar.
In Split, after 9 p.m. there is no going to the store for another bottle. No beer from the fridge. No wine from the shelf. No quick "jumping" for a bottle of whiskey because the company ran out of alcohol. The city has decided to draw a line: from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. – alcohol cannot be purchased in the area covered by the city decision....
