DEKALB, Ill. – The Miami University women's basketball team used an outstanding defensive effort to pick up a 71-43 road win over Northern Illinois on Wednesday afternoon. Miami (17-4, 9-0 MAC) forced 18 turnovers and held the Huskies to 33.3% shooting. Amber Tretter had a game-high 17 points and Núria Jurjo added 12 as the RedHawks picked up their 10th straight win.
