Hurst nominated for DOD comptroller

Hurst has overseen the Pentagon’s $1.5 trillion budget request since August, and would be the first Senate-confirmed comptroller since Trump’s second term began.

Acting Pentagon Comptroller Jay Hurst has been nominated by President Trump to remain in the position permanently, according to a White House announcement.
